Fighting with this problem for over a week. When I try to open Photoshop CCthe windows opens adobe photoshop cc 2018 setup not working free the program starts loading until it gets to initializing. Then I get at one point that the preferences file is invalid file was deleted. I maintained CC installed during the update and it opens fine. The only problem is with CC I have tried to uninstall all Creative Cloud apps and then use the CC cleanup tool, then reinstall but I get the same problem.

I have restored a full drive image, all the way back from prior to CC being released-CC opens fine but when I update to CC via the application manager, all the same problems continue. The maximum file size is 47 MB.     Take it to your nearest computer repair guy,a new install of OS and CC replace.me program that crashes a poota means you have serious issues. However, Adobe does NOT stop older version from running. So If you have Photoshop CC installed and activated it will run. Adobe Photoshop CC cannot be opened because of a problem. Check with the developer to make sure Adobe Photoshop CC works with this.
