I enjoyed reading this book but its not one that I would pick up and want to read again. Firstly, I found the whole tone of it rather sad throughout. From reading about Fergus' ordeals in school to bpok rest of his collrctor which he has basically been leading as a lie. Although you do find sympathy and understanding as to what led him marvle become so withdrawn. Then to his daughter who also seems to be a sad, lost flower who is getting sick and tired of her job and seemingly boook the whole purpose of her life - to which you also find a reason as to why she may have been feeling like this later on in the book, but still somehow I didn't feel all that sorry for her.
The story did keep me guessing though right until the end as marrble who delivered the marbles and how it tied into Fergus' life. However, the characters failed to connect to me emotionally in any level. I was also a bit put off by the amount of swearing in this book, I mean, I know they are Irish, but isn't it a bit discriminative to portray the whole family as a rough bunch?
I'm guessing that the main message from the story is revieww communication is key when in marb,e relationship. If you have problems, you don't bottle it all in any keep it to yourself no matter how angry or humiliated you feel.
In life we come across challenges that can test the strength of a relationship and I think in the end Sabrina realises fref opening up was the key to making herself happy collecotr keep the family together. The book arrived in good time, but when the package was opened the cover was disgusting. It was covered a in dirty back marks and black finger prints. I'm Sorry to write this feedback as it dose not sit well with me but the product was not fit for purpose was not fit for purpose.
I used to love Cecelia Adhern, so thought I would give this one ago. Well it was the most boring book I have ever read, I gave up over half way through. She went into great details about Marbles It has really put me off ever purchasing another book of hers. What happened to the fantastic boo she once was. Do not bother with this book, it will bore you rigid. I have read marbl of Cecelia Ahern's books. I was quite underwhelmed by this one. Pleasant enough but not the same sparkle I felt her earlier offerings have.
