The Options tab is divided into several key areas including the trace controls, color mode and trace options. The Trace result details area shown below plays a key role in providing critical information as you adjust the tracing options. The Colors tab includes controls that let you manipulate the color space of the traced results. Follow the tutorial steps below to explore how easily these tools can be applied and modified to produce exactly the tracing results you need.
The source of your bitmap image can significantly influence its inherent quality. Software-sourced bitmaps are the best to work with, while scanned images often require some refinement before they can be accurately traced. In the steps that follow, we'll look at both scenarios. Both are CMYK bitmaps that have an image resolution of dpi and depict the same logo. The first version we'll trace was exported from a drawing program CorelDRAW while the second one was scanned by using a consumer-brand flatbed scanner.
Although each bitmap may require its own special treatments, you can see how powerful and easy-to-use the PowerTRACE features are. A gradient consists of a master color style and a number of shades of that color. In most of the available color models and palettes, the derivative styles share the same hue as the master color style but have different saturation and brightness levels.
When you change the hue of the master color style in a gradient, you automatically update the related color styles, based on the new hue and the original saturation and brightness values see Figures 14 and You can use the Harmony Editor in the Color Styles docker to preview your design in various color schemes. Simply select the gradient folder , and then drag to rotate any of the color selector rings in the color wheel see Figures 17 and You can make styles and style sets available for use in other documents by exporting them to a CorelDRAW style sheet.
A style sheet contains all the object styles, style sets, color styles, and default object properties in the active document. You can also use styles and style sets from other documents by importing the style sheet to which they were saved. Simply email the stylesheet. Toggle navigation. By editing color styles in a harmony, you can quickly create a variety of alternate color schemes by shifting the colors together, or you can alter the color composition of your artwork in one step.
