I have Windows 7 64bit. Don't remember the last successful update but all recent ones have failed. I got confused and kralcr in not my user name. I also have run Malwarebytes but had to remove it becuase there was a conflict. I will do the other things you mentioned and let you know how it works. I've now done what you suggested above that is I've run the CCleaner and the Kaspersky.
